Explore the charms and delights of our islands

This cruise around our fabulous, history-packed islands is a voyage of fascinating, overlooked wonders just waiting to be experienced.  Peaceful hills and valleys descending to the sea, river estuaries teeming with wild-life, bustling fishing harbours and quaint old towns all combine to showcase our great island heritage.  From the Scottish Highlands to our more remote offshore islands and a trip to the Irish capital, this is a cruise holiday to remember.

Invergordon gives the perfect opportunity to discover the Scottish Highlands, historic castles, Culloden battlefield and Loch Ness. From Kirkwall, explore the scenic Orkney Islands featuring rugged and forbidding landscapes and Stone Age sites. On to Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, with a unique character reflecting its fishing and maritime history.  The Isle of Mull is next where at picturesque Tobermory, original location of the children's television series Balamory, a pretty frontage of hotels, shops and houses wrap around the bay. The pace speeds up now with a visit to the famous bustling streets of Dublin and a chance to see St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Trinity College Old Library, home of the Book of Kells, and a huge choice of bars, restaurants and shops.  Then Marco Polo drops anchor off charming St. Mary’s in the stunning Isles of Scilly, with a popular tour option to Tresco’s renowned Abbey Gardens.  St. Peter Port on Guernsey in the beloved Channel Islands has a captivating blend of Georgian, Regency and Parisian-style houses set in a tumble of terraces. And finally, before sailing back to Tilbury, enjoy the picturesque French port of Honfleur with its charming old harbour and jumble of narrow cobbled streets.
