Enjoy a day at sea and the activities and entertainment on board Ocean Countess before arriving at delightful Bergen. Birthplace of the composer Edvard Grieg, this old Hanseatic port is famed for its historic Bryggen district of beautifully restored wooden buildings, colourful harbour front and bustling fish market. Your visit to Norway’s fjordland begins at Åndalsnes on the beautiful Romsdalsfjord. Surrounded by wild and beautiful mountains, this is your gateway to some magnificent Norwegian scenery including the Trollstigen, one of Europe's most amazing roads with its many hairpin bends. Geiranger is nestled in a natural green amphitheatre surrounded by tall granite peaks at the head of the Geirangerfjord. Considered to be the most beautiful fjord in Norway, three famous waterfalls cascade into its deep waters - The Suitor, The Bridal Veil and The Seven Sisters. Finally, a course is set for Lerwick in the Shetland Islands, well known for their rugged scenery, abundant wildlife and crofting communities. Relive wonderful memories as you enjoy a final day at sea sailing back to Greenock.
