From Newcastle, enjoy a relaxing day at sea before reaching pretty Honfleur with its delightful old harbour and marina. Explore the narrow streets that are little changed since medieval times or perhaps opt to visit Monet’s house and garden at Giverny. The relaxed style of St. Helier introduces you to picturesque Jersey with the chance for some duty-free shopping. Then it’s over to St. Mary’s in the Isles of Scilly, a beautiful haven of peace and tranquillity with a popular option to visit Tresco’s famous Abbey Gardens. From Milford Haven perhaps opt for a tour to Pembroke Castle and the picturesque seaside town of Tenby before crossing over the Irish Sea to Belfast. Discover Belfast City Hall, the Grand Opera House, Queen’s University and the amazing new Titanic Quarter. A tour to the Giant’s Causeway is a prime excursion option. The Isle of Mull offers wonderful scenery and pretty Tobermory, with its colourful frontage of shops and houses, is picture postcard perfect. Kirkwall is the gateway to the Orkney Island’s fascinating mix of small settlements and Stone Age sites. Continue to Invergordon, which opens the door to the legends of Loch Ness and the dramatic Scottish Highlands before returning to Newcastle.
