A Combination of Baltic Splendour and Beautiful Islands

A magical combination of six iconic Baltic cities, the amazing Faroe Islands, Scotland’s beautiful Orkney Islands and Inner Hebrides, together with the ever-charming Emerald Isle, make this unique cruise itinerary truly special. Around the Baltic you’ll discover a wealth of history, culture, art and architecture every time you step ashore. Then relax as you venture to delightful islands where your cultural experiences are set against a backdrop of simply awe-inspiring scenery.

With its labyrinth of canals, cobbled streets and statue of the Little Mermaid, charming Copenhagen is a wonderful introduction to the Baltic followed by a call in Helsinki, renowned for its graceful architecture. Peter the Great looked West for inspiration when he created St. Petersburg. An overnight stay and fantastic choice of optional tours including the magnificent Hermitage, grandiose palaces and ornate churches is perfect to discover the ‘City of the Tsars’. The Old Town of Tallinn is a maze of narrow, winding cobbled streets wrapped within an imposing medieval wall. An optional boat trip on the waterways of Stockholm is ideal to explore the city built on islands linked by bridges. Enjoy delightful fjord scenery as you cruise towards Oslo to explore the city’s Viking heritage, before heading back to the UK. Some guests will leave here and new ones embark for a voyage to the Scottish Isles and Faroes. The Norse warriors left their mark in Kirkwall, the capital of the Orkneys, and in colourful Torshávn, which is your gateway to the wild landscape of the far-flung Faroe Islands. Discovery then sails to Portree on the stunning beautiful Isle of Skye and picturesque Cobh from where you might choose to visit historic Cork, or the legendary Blarney Castle.
