Astor will sail on 5th November 2013 from Civitavecchia, the port for Rome, on a 36 night voyage to Australia via the Suez Canal.This trip of a lifetime offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the bygone halcyon days of long distance sea travel. Combine lazy days at sea with the many pleasures of shipboard life including sumptuous cuisine, sparkling entertainment, learning a new skill and making new friendships. Calling at truly fascinating ports and crossing the Equator, you will arrive in Fremantle, the port for Perth, on 11th December. Perhaps choose to spend Christmas with friends or relatives and discover this wonderful country during the Australian summer. On 1st April 2014, Astor will commence her 40 night voyage north to the UK via Cape Town and with our flexible ‘cruise only’ arrangements, you may choose to fly to Australia or SouthAfrica and then sail back home.
