Highlands, islands and a flavour of Frane

This exciting cruise circumnavigating our island nation is perfect to discover some of Britain’s most beautiful landscapes, some of her more remote islands and their communities, Ireland’s iconic capital and a charming corner of France. You might choose to explore ancient sites and historic castles, visit world-renowned gardens, or simply soak up the atmosphere where you step ashore in peaceful villages, bustling cities, and delightfully quaint, old towns.

After a leisurely day at sea you awake to find yourself north of the border. Invergordon is your gateway to the Scottish Highlands where amidst breathtaking scenery you can visit romantic castles, the sites of clan feuds, or look for the legendary monster in Loch Ness. Next stop is Stornoway on the largest island in the wild and unspoiled Outer Hebrides. The stunning landscape is home to an amazing array of wildlife and the pre-historic Callanish Stones. Tobermory’s picture-postcard, brightly painted waterfront is a charming introduction to the ‘Capital of Mull’. Wander through this picturesque town, or venture further and discover this most romantic of islands. You may wish to visit the tiny Isle of Iona, the cradle of Scottish Christianity. The capital of the Emerald Isle, Dublin needs no introduction. Discover the highlights of a city simply bursting with character. In complete contrast to Dublin’s bustling streets is the peace and tranquillity of the Isles of Scilly with a chance to visit the famous Tresco Abbey Gardens. Cobbled streets and an attractive marina, St Peter Port is one of Europe’s prettiest harbour towns. Finally enjoy Honfleur and the option to visit fashionable Deauville, or Monet’s delightful garden and home at Giverny.
