From Tilbury enjoy a relaxing day at sea as you sail across to Norway. Your first call is at the pretty village of Eidfjord, at the head of an arm of the splendid Hardangerfjord, with the option to visit the vast Hardangervidda plateau and Vøringsfossen, probably Norway’s most famous waterfall. At the end of the Aurlandsfjord, a branch of the mighty Sognefjord which is Norway’s longest and deepest fjord, lies charming Flåm. Here is the terminus for the Flåmsbana, the famous mountain railway which climbs to a height of 866 metres passing through 20 tunnels which is undoubtedly one of the most popular fjordland excursions. At the head of the Sognefjord lies Skjolden from where you may choose to visit the stunning interior or visit the outstanding wooden Urnes Stave Church, the oldest stave church in Norway. Enjoy the fabulous scenery as you cruise along the majestic Sognefjord. By contrast, today is spent in the old Hanseatic town of Bergen with its busy harbour-side fish market. Explore historic Bryggen, the heart of the medieval city with its beautifully restored wooden warehouses and perhaps take the Fløibanen funicular for a spectacular view. Your final day is spent enjoying the facilities and entertainment on board.

Graham Jolley is one of the UK’s most talented and versatile magical performers, entertaining audiences with his unique style and amazing mind reading capabilities.  Having performed at a huge number of corporate events, private dinners, conferences and on national television, Graham’s act adapts perfectly to any environment.

A psychological entertainer, Graham is able to perform any number of astonishing feats, baffling and thrilling his audience in equal measure.  His work has seen him perform for a large number of international organisations, as well as appearing on the high profile ITV series ‘Penn and Teller Fool Us’, among many others, and successfully hoodwinking both the audience and the judges.

Graham’s versatility has seen him perform in a wide array of settings, with both small and, in the case of his television work, national audiences.  At corporate performances, the audience is frequently dazzled by the shows he produces and for him the art of illusion and psychological performance have been a life-long obsession.

With a career spanning more than thirty years, Graham’s dedication to the art of performance is truly impressive. His unique style has been continually honed and he has worked with both famous faces and high profile business executives.  His particular brand of wit completes his act and his audiences find themselves enthralled, amused and thoroughly bewildered.

Valmai Miller is an ex-teacher, with a special interest in traditional crafts, and on this cruise she will be introducing you to Parchment and the skill of English patchwork, which is sewn by hand.

After introducing you to parchment Valmai will teach you further skills which include making gift envelopes and Calligraphy.

Valmai loves the use of vibrant colours and contracting patterns, and will be showing you how to complete some attractive projects, which, she is sure, will lead you on to further creations when you return home.

Patchwork is the ideal holiday activity as you can carry small sections with you to occupy your leisure time constructively.

The finished items will make novel gifts for your family and friends, in addition to being a perfect way of recycling remnants of fabric.

Do come to the classes, as only very basic sewing skills are involved, and the results are so individual and attractive
