Your introduction to Norway is the delightful old Hanseatic port town of Bergen with its historic Bryggen district of restored wooden buildings and busy harbour-side fish market.

At the tip of theNordfjord lies the quaint village of Olden which is ideally situated for the chance to visit the Briksdal Glacier. A relaxing day at sea brings you to Leknes on the Lofoten Islands within the Arctic Circle, a beautifully rugged outpost steeped in Viking history. On to Honningsvaag for the opportunity, weather permitting, to view the Midnight Sun at the North Cape on an optional excursion before sailing south to the Arctic city of Tromsø, packed with history and culture and home to Polar and Lapp museum displays. From the ship’s rail, view Svartisen Glacier, Norway’s second largest glacier. Åndalsnes, in the Romsdalsfjord, offers the chance to take in some magnificent scenery including the Trollstigen, one of Europe's most amazing roads with its many hairpin bends. Your final call is made at Stavanger, one of Norway’s oldest towns, where the cobbled streets and preserved wooden houses of Gamle Stavanger evoke memories of its shipping and fishing heritage. A day at sea brings you back to Tilbury with memories to treasure.

Note: The viewing of the Midnight Sun is subject to suitable weather conditions.
